IN 2021 I WANTED TO MAKE SOME EXTRA MONEY FOR THE FAMILY HOLIDAY FUND.
I was keen to take my Aussie daughters to the UK to see my family and friends - it had been a few years - but those flights aren't cheap!
I looked around at different ways to make extra money, and decided to start teaching Macrame Workshops and Paint & Sips. I found out everything I could about Paint Parties, set up a Facebook business page and reached out to local restaurants, venues and clubs. Within a few weeks I found myself super busy, having heaps of fun and making good money too!
I ended up making $64,000 in the first year, including taking 3 months off for holidays (including one to the UK, yay!).
I love everything about paint parties - I love the social side of it, the creativity and colour, I love seeing people chatting and relaxing with friends, getting into the creative bubble - and I really love seeing how proud and amazed most guests are when they finish their masterpiece!

Today I attended one of the many different paint classes on offer, I went on my own and had so much fun. I am not at all an artist but I had the best time and totally surprised myself.
